All Day Performance collects personal information so that we can book your car in, do the work and keep a record of what we changed. This page explains what we hold and why. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your contact details. Your name, email address and phone number, so that we can confirm the booking and reach you about the car.
- Your vehicle details. The make, model, year, engine, transmission, fuel and any modifications. We use this information to prepare for the job and to build the calibration.
- The work record. Each tune revision, the dyno runs and the notes taken during the session. This record stays with your vehicle so that a later visit can build on it.
- Payment references. Stripe processes every payment. We receive a payment reference, the amount, the card brand and the last four digits. We never receive or store a full card number.
- Technical information. When you send an enquiry we record the network address and the browser identifier, so that we can deal with abuse of the form.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not send marketing email unless you asked for it. Every message carries an unsubscribe link.
- We do not load an advertising tracker or a third party analytics script on this site.
Who else sees it
We share information with these providers, and no others.
- Stripe processes the deposit payment.
- Our email provider delivers the booking confirmation.
- Cloudflare serves this site and filters malicious traffic.
How long we keep it
- We clear the network address and the browser identifier on an enquiry after 90 days.
- We keep booking and payment records for seven years, because tax law requires it.
- We keep the tune record for your vehicle while you remain a customer, because the next tune depends on it. Ask us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information that we hold about you. You can ask us to correct it. You can ask us to delete it, except where we must keep a record by law.
Write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security
The connection to this site is encrypted. The database sits behind a firewall that accepts traffic from our own application only, and the application connects with an account that cannot change the database structure. Backups are encrypted before they leave the server.
