Perth, Western Australia

Factory built.
Finished by us.

ECU reflashing, custom dyno mapping, fuel calibration and diagnostics. Every change is measured on the rollers before your car leaves the workshop.

We don't guess. We read and test.

Your original file, kept

Every factory calibration is read out and archived before we write anything. The car can go back to standard whenever you need it to.

A chart before and after

A baseline run and a final run, corrected to the same standard. You see exactly what changed, and so does anyone you show it to.

Road legal, always

We do not delete emissions equipment. Every map on a registered car keeps it compliant with the Australian Design Rules.

The method

Data in. Power out.

  1. 01

    Read

Every module is scanned before a single value changes. Fuel trims, knock history, cam timing, sensor health. If the car is not healthy, a map cannot fix it, and we say so before you spend anything.

  2. 02

    Baseline

The car goes on the rollers as it arrived. That run is your reference, corrected to SAE J1349 so the figure means something to anybody who reads it.

  3. 03

    Map

Fuel and ignition are worked through under load, table by table, until the calibration matches the parts on the engine and the fuel in the tank. Not a file bought from overseas and flashed blind.

  4. 04

    Prove

A final run, a road drive, and a log. You leave with the before chart, the after chart and your original factory file kept on record.

Track support

We come to the circuit

A calibration that is right on the road can want changing at the circuit, where the air temperature, the fuel load and the session length all differ. We attend with the laptop, log every session and adjust between runs. Barbagallo and the Perth Motorplex.

Track day support
A track prepared car in a circuit paddock at dawn, bonnet up, with a laptop on a trolley beside it.

Straight answers

The questions we get asked

Will a tune void my new car warranty?

A manufacturer can refuse a claim where the modification caused the fault, but under Australian Consumer Law it cannot void the whole warranty simply because the car was tuned. We keep your original factory file, so the car can be returned to standard before a dealer visit.

Do you remove DPFs or EGR systems?

No. Removing or defeating emissions equipment is illegal on a road registered vehicle in Australia, and it fails a vehicle standards inspection. Every calibration we write keeps a road car road legal.

How much power will my car make?

We will not give you a number before we have read your car. The honest answer depends on the engine, the parts fitted, the fuel and the condition of the vehicle. We give you a range once we have the baseline run, and the final figure is measured, not estimated.

What fuel should I have in the tank?

Arrive with at least a quarter tank of the fuel you intend to run every day. If we tune on 98 and you fill with 91, the calibration is wrong for the fuel in the car.

How long does the car stay with you?

A Stage 1 reflash is about half a day. A full custom tune is a full day. Track day support is booked by the day. Each service page states the time we hold the bay for.

Bring us the car.

Tell us what you have and what you want from it. If a tune is not the right answer, we will tell you that instead.
